Richmond Steel Recycling Limited (“Richmond Steel Recycling”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to providing our customers with efficient, reliable, trustworthy and excellent service. This includes protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all personal information under our control.

Our website at https://richmondsteel.ca/ (“Our Site”) may include links to third‐party web sites, plugins, services, social networks, or applications; note that this Privacy Policy applies only to Our Site and not the sites of any other individuals, companies or organizations. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policy that applies to any linked third party site and/or making any necessary inquiries in respect of that privacy policy with the operator of the linked third party site. Collection of Personal Information, Use and Consent

Personal information is information about an identifiable individual, for example, your name, address, email address or telephone number, but does not include (a) your business contact information, (b) information concerning corporate or commercial entities, or (c) information that cannot be associated with a specific individual.

Richmond Steel, in common with many web site operators, may use standard technology called “cookies” on its sites. Cookies are small data files that are downloaded onto your computer when you visit a particular web site.

Richmond Steel Recycling may use the information collected through Our Site to improve the efficiency of our advertising campaigns and online services where we display advertisements. Information you give us

If you opt in to receive emails from us, you may receive periodic marketing emails or newsletters with information on our new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, you can unsubscribe anytime on the footer of the email. You can also let us know via email or telephone provided at the end of this Privacy Policy and we can manually remove your email address from the mailing list.

Retention of Your Information

We will destroy, erase or make anonymous documents or other records containing personal information as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the original purpose is no longer being served by retention of the information and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.  We will take due care when destroying personal information so as to prevent unauthorized access to such information.

Security

Any transmission that occurs between you as the user and Our Site is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) during the transmission. This process encrypts the information sent to our third party partners as well.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure.
